Objective:
The Training & Engagement Coordinator is responsible for overseeing functions of the HR department related to employee retention. This includes training activities like orientation and quarterly meetings; accountability activities like appraising and coaching employee performance, problem resolution and seeking positive outcomes.
Responsibilities:
· Reflects the core values of Buckskin 903 Ventures, LLC, d.b.a. Home Instead, an independently owned and operated franchise of Home Instead, Inc., an Honor Company.
· Provides leadership and management; focusing on operational efficiency, performance and engagement within human resources.
· Manages outcomes of HR department activities and direct changes that will drive achievement of operational goals.
· Focuses on Key Player engagement strategies to ensure their retention and satisfaction.
· Completes a regularly scheduled audit of HR processes to ensure compliance with all governing bodies; including Home Instead® Standards and any state specific requirements.
· Follows the Home Instead Standards; conducts reference checks, criminal background and motor vehicle check and drug screens on all Care Pros.
· Creates and maintains all employment records including but not limited to I-9 form, W-4 form and all other employment related documents.
· Schedules and conducts Care Pro orientation and all training including training required to meet Home Instead® Standards, state licensing, and additional optional training.
· Develops engagement strategies that utilize the 5 Care Pro needs to promote Care Pro retention and satisfaction.
· Schedules and conducts Care Pro annual reviews and, as needed, CarePro coaching.
· As needed, evaluates and updates all orientation and training materials.
· Monitors compliance for local and federal labor and safety laws including EOE, ADA, FMLA, and OSHA
· Assists with Care Pro payroll and direct deposit accuracy
· Helps manage Home Instead benefits
· Maintains regular attendance at the office to execute job responsibilities
· Demonstrates open and effective communication with the franchise owner, colleagues, Care Pros, clients and family members.
· Adheres to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes and ensures that they are communicated and implemented within the team.
Secondary Responsibilities:
· Answers each employment inquiry in a friendly, professional and knowledgeable manner.
· Develops and implements new recruitment strategies online and within the community.
· Schedules and conducts applicant interviews in an efficient and professional manner.
· Serves in emergency on-call phone management rotation
· Maintains and improves knowledge appropriate for position, personal growth and for enhancement of client care and CarePro growth.
· Performs any and all other functions and responsibilities deemed necessary for the successful operation of a Home Instead franchise office
Critical Numbers:
Maintain no more than 54% in CARE Pro turnover
Maintain a minimum of 70% in CARE Pro utilization
Maintain compliance with Buckskin 903 Ventures, LLC, Training Standards
Education/Experience Requirements:
· High school graduation or the equivalent required; Associates degree preferred
· One year of related business experience or an equivalent combination of education and additional work experience may be considered
· Must possess a valid driver’s license
Supervisory Responsibilities:
· This position will be responsible for overseeing all of the functions performed by the Care Pro staff

Duties
- Develop comprehensive training curricula utilizing ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation) methodology to ensure effective learning outcomes.
- Design and deliver engaging classroom sessions, e-learning courses, and virtual training modules using platforms such as LMS (Learning Management System) and e-learning platforms.
- Create instructional content including presentations, instructional videos using Adobe Captivate, and interactive modules aligned with adult learning principles.
- Manage multiple training projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with organizational goals through strong project management skills.
- Conduct needs assessments, research best practices in adult education, and collect data to continuously improve training effectiveness.
- Facilitate employee orientation sessions and support talent management initiatives like succession planning and performance management programs.
- Evaluate training effectiveness through employee feedback, assessments, and performance metrics; adjust programs accordingly to maximize impact.
- Collaborate with HR teams to develop content for human resources initiatives such as employee relations, change management, and mentoring programs.
- Lead team efforts in instructional content development for enterprise learning management systems (LMS) and ensure seamless integration of new learning technologies.
- Support human capital management strategies by designing targeted training programs that enhance organizational design and workforce capabilities.
Skills
- Expertise in curriculum development, instructional design, adult education theories, and training program design for professional development.
- Proficiency with ADDIE framework, Adobe Captivate, Microsoft Office Suite, LMS platforms (such as Enterprise Learning Management), and e-learning content creation tools.
- Strong understanding of learning theories instruction, instructional content development, and adult learning principles to craft impactful educational experiences.
- Demonstrated experience in program management, project coordination, change management strategies, and enterprise-wide training delivery.
- Excellent communication skills including public speaking, presentation skills, technical writing, and conflict management to effectively engage diverse audiences.
- Proven ability to lead teams in developing employee training programs within human resources roles focused on talent development and succession planning.
- Knowledge of human resources functions such as employee evaluation processes, recruiting support, HR sourcing techniques, and HRIS systems.
- Ability to conduct research on best practices in training & development while leveraging data collection for continuous improvement efforts.
- Strong organizational skills with the capacity to manage multiple projects while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
