Role Description

The Welder / Fabricator will be responsible for welding and fabricating components for livestock trailers. This position primarily focuses on installing pipe and planks on steel trailer assemblies. Experienced welders who learn production quickly may have the opportunity to serve as a float on the assembly line, moving between departments as needed.

Qualifications

Demonstrated proficiency in welding, including experience with thin‑metal MIG welding.
Knowledge of materials used in trailer and truck bed fabrication, particularly structural steel and related components.
Ability to learn and interpret fabrication layouts.
Strong commitment to quality, safety, and attention to detail in all welding and fabrication tasks.
Ability to lift and move materials, stand for extended periods, bend, and work with agility in a physically active shop environment.
Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team‑oriented setting.

Pay: $16.00 - $21.00 per hour
