Role:
Process and close first mortgages according to secondary market guidelines, HELOC's, Home Equity and Land/
Lot loans while ensuring that members receive quality mortgage loan service according to credit union policies,
practices and procedures. Receive calls and inquiries from credit Union staff regarding questions on various
mortgage loan programs, Investor guidelines, internal FFCU procedures and mortgage interest rates.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities:
Process and fund mortgage loans within established timeframes ensuring that all required
mortgage disclosures are complete, accurate and meet compliance regulations.
Maintain working knowledge of the Credit Union's established policies, procedures, mortgage
loan standards, mortgage products, mortgage rates and governmental regulations pertaining to
mortgage loans which includes monthly ongoing educational requirements.
Responsible for compliance with Credit Union policies including the Bank Secrecy Act and
Customer Identification Program.
Perform other related duties as assigned.

Performance Measurements:
1. Adhere to the Credit Union Service Standards in all interactions both internal and external as well as
employing CML (Creating Member Loyalty) skills.
2. Process and close first mortgage loans according to secondary market required guidelines in a timely fashion
with zero errors.
3. Process and close internal Home Equity, HELOC and Land loans according to required regulatory guidelines
in a timely fashion with zero errors.
4. Maintain working knowledge of all mortgage products and rates offered by the Credit Union.
5. Qualify for, obtain and maintain annual registration in the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System and
Registry (NMLS).
6. Offer Credit Union products and services to all qualified/eligible members.
7. Return all calls within the prescribed time frame.

Knowledge and Skills:
Experience Three years to five years of similar or related experience.

Education (1) A two-year college degree, or (2) completion of a specialized certification or licensing,
or (3) completion of specialized training courses conducted by vendors, or (4) job-specific
skills acquired through an apprenticeship program.
Interpersonal Skills Work involves much personal contact with others inside and/or outside the organization for
the purpose of first-level conflict resolution, building relationships, and soliciting
cooperation. Discussions involve a higher degree of confidentiality and discretion,
requiring diplomacy and tact in communication.
Other Skills Must display excellent attention to detail, good verbal and written communication skills.
Must possess basic computer and keyboard skills, ten key calculator, Excel and word
processing software.
Physical
Requirements This is sedentary work which requires the following physical activities: bending, stooping,
kneeling, crouching, sitting, walking, finger dexterity, feeling, repetitive motions, talking,
hearing and visual acuity. Specific vision abilities required for this job include close vision,
distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust
focus. As required or requested, may exert up to 25 pounds of force occasionally and/or a
negligible amount of force constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.
Work Environment Generally inside work with occasional exposure to weather conditions.
