Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled ERP Data Migration Lead to join our dynamic team. This pivotal role involves overseeing complex data migration projects from legacy systems to enterprise resource planning (ERP) platforms, ensuring seamless data transfer, integrity, and compliance. The ideal candidate will possess extensive expertise in data management, database design, and project leadership, driving successful migration initiatives that support organizational growth and operational excellence. This position offers an opportunity to lead cross-functional teams and implement innovative solutions in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end planning, execution, and monitoring of ERP data migration projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and timelines.
Develop comprehensive data migration strategies utilizing ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) tools such as Informatica and Talend.
Design and optimize data models for efficient storage within data warehouses and big data environments.
Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand data requirements, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and information governance policies.
Manage data quality monitoring processes to identify discrepancies, inconsistencies, and ensure high standards of data accuracy.
Oversee database management activities including SQL database development, Oracle management, and database design.
Utilize analytics tools such as Tableau for reporting and business intelligence insights to support decision-making.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams employing Agile methodologies to facilitate flexible project execution.
Implement best practices in master data management (MDM) and linked data integration for comprehensive data consistency.
Provide leadership in training team members on new systems, tools, and processes related to data collection and analysis.

Skills

Extensive experience with SQL databases, Oracle, and database management systems.
Proficiency in ETL tools such as Informatica and Talend for complex data extraction and transformation tasks.
Strong knowledge of big data technologies and data warehouse architecture.
Expertise in Python programming for automation and advanced analytics.
Demonstrated project management skills with a track record of leading large-scale migration initiatives.
Deep understanding of business intelligence platforms like Tableau for visual analytics.
Familiarity with regulatory compliance management and information governance frameworks.
Ability to design scalable data models aligned with enterprise needs.
Excellent analysis skills combined with attention to detail in maintaining high data quality standards.
Leadership qualities that inspire collaboration across technical teams and business units.
Knowledge of analysis techniques related to linked data integration and analysis skills essential for comprehensive insights.
