How you'll contribute
A Nurse Tech who excels in this role:

Performs basic patient care as delegated and supervised by an RN, including monitoring vital signs, possible blood glucose measurements, and accurate intake/output recording.

Assists patients with activities of daily living (bathing, grooming, eating, toileting, ambulation).
-
Observes and promptly reports abnormal physical, mental, or emotional findings to nursing staff.

Keeps patient rooms and common areas clean, safe, and appropriately stocked.

Manages the tech desk; supports nursing/physician staff and department throughput.

Documents care and activities per unit standards.
-
Participates in performance improvement and required education; performs other duties as assigned.

What we're looking for
Requirements include:

Certifications: BCLS required; Handle with Care preferred.

Required Skills: Critical thinking, decisive judgment, ability to work with minimal supervision in a stressful environment; rapid learning and navigation of multiple software systems; effective English communication (read/write/speak); ability to complete the Skills Competency Checklist within 90 days of hire.

Licenses: SRNA or EMT preferred

Education: High School diploma preferred.

How you'll contribute
A Medical Office Assistant who excels in this role:
Maintains equipment and medical supplies, including reordering, stocking, cleaning, and troubleshooting. Maintains examination areas.
Performs administrative or clerical duties as assigned, including filing, reception, scheduling, data entry, and patient registration.
Reviews provider orders prior to patient leaving the clinic.
Obtains informed consent for invasive procedures.
Schedules referral appointments as necessary or as instructed by the provider.
Maintains patient information in the computer system.
Schedules and registers patients. Maintains patient information on the computer system.
Post charges, completes paperwork, collects copays, deductibles and account balances.
Assists in the completion of "end of day balancing/closing" and deposit preparations for courier pickup.
