Full Job Description

Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Bilingual Loan Officer Assistant to join our growing team. This role supports the Producing Branch Manager and Loan Officers by helping manage daily loan operations, maintaining strong client communication, and ensuring loan files move smoothly from application to closing.

The ideal candidate is organized, customer-focused, and thrives in a fast-paced environment while providing both operational and marketing support.

Key Responsibilities

Assist Loan Officers with managing loan files from application through closing
Collect, review, and organize borrower documentation to ensure complete and accurate loan files
Communicate with borrowers, real estate agents, title companies, and other third parties throughout the loan process
Follow up on outstanding conditions and documentation needed for underwriting approval
Provide regular updates to clients and referral partners regarding loan status
Schedule appointments, manage calendars, and support day-to-day branch operations
Assist with marketing efforts through social media, email campaigns, phone calls, and client follow-up
Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with company and industry guidelines
Support customer service efforts by delivering a positive and professional borrower experience
Perform administrative tasks including emailing, document management, and database updates

Qualifications & Requirements

Previous experience in mortgage lending, loan processing, or as a Loan Officer Assistant preferred
Active NMLS license
Strong knowledge of mortgage loan processes and documentation
Familiarity with FNMA guidelines, TILA regulations, and Fair Housing laws preferred
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines
Proficient in Microsoft Office and mortgage loan software systems
Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities
