Full Job Description

We are currently seeking a Regional Manager to join our team. The Regional Manager will be responsible to the property owners for supervising on-site staff, property, and equipment in multiple locations; hiring, training, and evaluating on-site personnel; problem solving; analyzing financial information to ensure return on investment for owner; meeting various deadlines; special projects when requested.

Travelling across Kansas and Missouri!

Essential Duties:

Supervising on-site staff at each assigned location. Visiting each property regularly, recruiting and advertising for potential employees; hiring and training property managers monthly basis or as needed basis; reviewing files; maintaining on-site staff including managers, maintenance technicians, and other on-site personnel; inspecting properties, assuring that all employees comply with company policies and procedures; preparing and carrying out performance evaluations on each on-site employee.
Analyzing financial statements for each location, preparing and discussing results and variances with Vice President and property owners monthly approving payables and reviewing for payment; signing and mailing various reports; obtaining and/or sending necessary certificates to various authorities.
Developing information and corresponding with resident managers and various governmental authorities including HUD, IFA, etc.; working with resident managers to review lease expiration and renewal lists on a monthly basis; meeting with tenants regarding any issues the community managers can’t resolve.
Preparing annual budgets for leasing and maintenance operations at each assigned location; assisting Vice President with capital budgets and annual management plan; reviewing and approving all contractual services.
Compliance knowledge. Audit of subsidized housing files for accuracy and completeness.
Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

Must be well organized and resourceful
Must have phenomenal interpersonal skills as well as an ability to get along with diverse personalities.
Must be professional, mature, tactful and flexible.
Must possess the ability to provide exceptional customer service; have a positive attitude and the ability to handle conflict calmly when it arises.
Demonstrate ability to apply principles of logical thinking to define problems, collect pertinent data, establish facts, draw valid conclusions, and initiate appropriate course of action.
Must present a professional image.
Must be able to effectively communicate and understand directions both orally and in writing.
Must have strong computer skills; keyboard, internet search, Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Knowledge of property management software; Resmanpreferred.
Participate in training to comply with new or existing laws.
