Full Job Description

Seeking an Ophthalmic Tech/Assistant who enjoys working with people, medical office and ophthalmic experience a plus. Will train the right candidate. Candidate should also be detail oriented, friendly and a professional team player with a positive attitude. Electronic medical records experience is a plus. Must also be able to excel in a fast pace environment with two MD's and two Optometrists. Serious applicants only please!

Responsibilities
- Assist ophthalmologists with patient examinations and procedures.
- Utilize EMR systems to update and maintain patient records accurately.
- Perform preliminary tests such as measuring visual acuity and intraocular pressure.
- Provide patient education on eye care and treatment plans.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality.

Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a medical office setting
- Proficiency in using EMR systems, specifically Modernizing Medicine's EMA a plus
- Strong knowledge of ophthalmology practices and terminology
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
- Experience in patient care and handling sensitive medical information
