Job Title: CNC Programmer/Tool Maker
JOB SUMMARY: The CNC programmer/Tool Maker will work from prints, sketches, CAD, etc. You will also be responsible for interpreting the prints of other designers. Our ideal applicant has experience on an EDM, CNC, and other manual machines.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Read CAD and Blueprints
- Set up, program, and operate CNC
- Program and machine new fixturing using CAD and CAM software and CNC machines.
- Perform quality checks on your tools
- Perform machine operations requiring methods to maintain very tight tolerances and fits.
- Design and build custom vise jaws and sample fixtures for part production.
- Process improvements on exciting parts that include new fixturing, part programs, and custom tooling.
- Understand Complex GD&T
- Create moderate-high complexity programs for CNC Machine to create mold/tool pieces
- Identify and solve process & program issues
- Evaluate and recommend tooling
- 5 years of experience in CNC setup.
- 3-5 Years of experience with MAZAK, HAAS, HURCO & FANUC controls
- Solid understanding CAD software
- Knowledge of tooling and tooling capabilities

Experience:
- Electrical discharge machining: 1 year (Preferred)
- CNC: 1 year (Preferred)

- Journeyman License (Preferred)
