This role provides executive, administrative, operational, and regulatory support for the Compliance and Privacy Department. Serves as a central resource for coordinating compliance activities, privacy operations, audits, investigations, education, reporting, policy management, regulatory readiness, and department projects across the health system.

Qualifications:
Minimum of one (1) of the following required:
Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Health Information Management, Public Health, Nursing, Legal Studies or related field.
An equivalent combination of education and/or experience from which comparable knowledge and abilities can be acquired.
Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in healthcare compliance, privacy, quality, risk management, health information management, healthcare administration, or a related healthcare operational role required.
Master’s degree in a related discipline preferred.
CHC, CHPC, CHPS, CPHQ, RHIT, or RHIA certification preferred.

Job Specific Duties:
Coordinates daily operations of the Compliance and Privacy Department, including calendars, meetings, agendas, administrative and executive support.
Maintains and track compliance work plans, audit schedules, monitoring activities, dashboards, and regulatory tracking logs.
Administers compliance reporting systems, hotline activities, and case management tools, including intake, documentation, and tracking of concerns.
Supports compliance and privacy investigations, including interviews, evidence collection, breach assessments, and incident documentation.
Tracks compliance initiatives, audits findings, corrective action plans, and follow-up activities to ensure timely resolution.
Coordinates internal audits, monitoring plans, and risk assessments while supporting regulatory readiness efforts.
Gathers, organizes, and maintains documentation for regulatory reviews, accreditation surveys, and external agency requests (e.g., CMS, DNV, OIG, DOJ, DEA, HHS).
Maintains compliance and privacy records, investigation files, and supporting documentation in accordance with regulatory requirements.
Monitors changes in healthcare laws and regulations and support policy development, review, revision, approval, and publication processes.
Coordinates responses to privacy inquiries, patient concerns, and information requests in alignment with organizational policies.
Develops and coordinate compliance and privacy education programs, including training materials, communications, and awareness initiatives.
Supports department operations through budget tracking, vendor coordination, contract administration, and preparation of reports, presentations, and committee materials.
Works collaboratively with compliance, privacy, legal, clinical, operational, quality, human resources, health information management, information technology, and leadership teams to support organizational compliance with federal and state regulations, accreditation standards, and organizational policies.

Logan Health operates 24 hours per day, seven days per week. Schedules are set to accommodate the requirements of the position and the needs of the organization and may be adjusted as needed.
