Overview

Join our dynamic team as a Kitchen Lead and become the driving force behind a vibrant, fast-paced culinary environment! In this pivotal role, you will oversee daily kitchen operations, ensure exceptional food quality, and lead a talented team of culinary professionals. Your passion for food preparation, management expertise, and dedication to customer satisfaction will help create memorable dining experiences. Duties

Supervise all kitchen activities, including food preparation, cooking, and plating to ensure consistency and quality.
Manage inventory control by monitoring stock levels, ordering supplies, and minimizing waste through efficient food management practices.
Oversee POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for accurate order processing, cash handling, and sales reconciliation.
Train, mentor, and develop kitchen staff to uphold food safety standards, proper food handling techniques, and excellent customer service.
Coordinate shift management by assigning tasks, supervising team members, and ensuring smooth operational flow during busy hours.
Maintain compliance with health regulations and safety protocols related to food safety management and sanitation standards.
Assist in budgeting efforts by analyzing profit and loss reports and implementing cost-effective strategies to maximize profitability.
Cooking on the line

Experience

Proven experience in quick service or fast-food restaurant environments with strong cooking skills.
Demonstrated leadership in managing hospitality teams within casual dining or fine dining settings.
Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for transaction processing and reporting.
Prior experience supervising staff, conducting training & development sessions, and managing shift operations.
Knowledge of food safety regulations, food production processes, catering or banquet experience is highly desirable.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle inventory control, budgeting, and food safety management effectively.
Excellent communication skills for managerial communication, interviewing potential team members, and fostering a positive team environment.
