Job Description:

Shift: Second Shift,Rotating,Mon,Tue,Wed,Thu,Fri,Sat,Sun

Family Guidance Centers, Inc. (FGC), a not-for-profit behavioral healthcare organization, treats and prevents substance use disorder, as well as an array of other related problems. Since 1969, FGC's comprehensive programming has educated and guided individuals toward their full potential as productive members within their own families and our society. Family Guidance Centers, Inc seeks to support the behavioral health of individuals, families, and communities through our commitment to innovation, accountability, and compassionate care to facilitate positive, lasting change.

Essential Duties:

Processes patients from assessment to discharge in both medications assisted treatment and drug free treatment programming.
Dispenses all medication under procedures set forth by Family Guidance Center, Substance Use Prevention and Recovery, Clinical Sustainability Assessment Tool and the Drug Enforcement Administration
Monitors the appropriateness of methadone and medication dosages.
Monitors the physical & mental health well-being of patients and documents findings.
Must be available to travel if needed

Schedule: Five days a week; rotating (2:00p - 10:30p)

Start Date: ASAP

Work Locations: 333 W. Evergreen St., Manteno

Pay Rate: $30.00

Experience and Skills:

Education and/or Experience: One yearexperience in Behavioral Health Care or hospital setting. Individual must possess good communication skills. General basic nursing and medical terminology knowledge. Must have knowledge of substance abuse pathology. Must have knowledge of all state and federal rules and regulations.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: L.P.N. registered in the State of Illinois and certified in CPR required
