Full Job Description

The Associate Software Engineer – DevOps Engineer is responsible for all stages of the software development lifecycle using a variety of technologies and tools to build impactful software solutions. The scope of this job includes building and optimizing comprehensive solutions that prioritize end-user efficiency and experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support the design, implementation, and maintenance of highly available and scalable infrastructure and applications on the Microsoft Azure platform.
Contribute to automation scripts and workflows for deployment, configuration, and monitoring using tools like PowerShell, Bash, and Azure DevOps pipelines.
Assist in the development and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines to enable continuous integration and deployment.
Monitor system performance, help troubleshoot issues, and support optimization of system resources for improved scalability and reliability.
Participate in resolving infrastructure and application issues to ensure maximum uptime.
Participate in an on-call rotation to support production systems and respond to incidents.
Stay informed on emerging technologies and best practices in DevOps and cloud computing.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience
0 - 2 years related work experience

Preferred Qualifications:

Exposure to software engineering practices with an interest in DevOps.
Familiarity with Microsoft technologies including Azure, PowerShell, and SQL Server.
Awareness of infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform.
Introductory understanding of containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools such as New Relic, Azure Monitor, and Site24x7.
Experience with source control systems like GitHub.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Effective communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work in a team environment.
Ability to collaborate via documentation tools like Confluence, Miro, and SharePoint.
Commitment to team rituals with 80% attendance expectation.
Relevant certifications such as Azure Fundamentals, Azure Developer Associate, or GCP Associate Cloud Engineer.
Exposure to microservices architectures.
Awareness of security best practices in cloud environments.
Interest or experience in supporting Redis in a production environment.
Familiarity with GCP cloud services and tooling.
Healthcare industry experience

Must work in accordance with applicable security policies and procedures to safeguard company and client information
Must be able to sit and view a computer screen for extended periods of time
