Brittmoore Social will be West Houston’s premier indoor-outdoor social space, launching in Fall, 2026 adjacent to The Cannon West Houston. This new concept sits deliberately in the sweet spot between an upscale lounge and an elevated sports bar, with elements of an all-day gathering place. Our mission is to provide an inviting, high-comfort environment where professionals, neighbors, and friends gather from lunch through late night.
By early 2027, this role has the opportunity to expand with the launch of a purpose-built, large-scale event venue tailored for high-end corporate functions and social milestones.
Role Overview
We are seeking an elite, opening-focused General Manager to take complete operational ownership of Brittmoore Social. As our foundational leader, you will orchestrate the pre-opening launch sequence for the concept, build the hospitality team from scratch, design a standout beverage program, and manage our third-party food vendor relationship.
As the campus expands in 2027, your role will scale into an multi-venue manager overseeing both the daily bar operations and the corporate events pipeline at the planned events facility.
Core Responsibilities
1. Pre-Opening & Launch Execution (Immediate Focus)
- Manage the operational timeline leading up to the Fall, 2026 grand opening.
- Establish standard operating procedures (SOPs) for inventory control, scheduling, training, safety, cash handling, and daily opening/closing sequences.
- Coordinate with contractors, inspectors, and owners to ensure the physical space is launch-ready.
2. Beverage Program & Creative Direction
- Menu Engineering: Build, cost, and execute an innovative, upscale signature cocktail menu from scratch that complements our casual-premium vibe.
- Curate a rotating tap wall of premium beers and high-quality wines that appeal to all demographics.
- Maintain strict pour-cost targets and establish strategic partnerships with premium distributors.
3. Staffing, Training & Culture Building
- Recruit, interview, and hire a high-performing front-of-house team (bartenders, barbacks, and floor hosts).
- Develop and execute a comprehensive training program emphasizing deep product knowledge, high-speed execution, and refined hospitality.
- Foster a warm, energetic, and accountable team culture that matches our brand ethos.
4. Third-Party Vendor & Operations Management
- Act as the primary landlord liaison and quality-control manager for our third-party food vendor partner.
- Ensure the food execution aligns seamlessly with the bar service, maintaining zero friction for the guest experience.
- Oversee daily shift operations from lunch service through late-night closing.
5. Multi-Venue Event Operations (Scaling into 2027)
- Oversee the activation and execution of partial buyouts and private mixers inside Brittmoore Social.
- Prepare operational infrastructure for the early 2027 launch of the new events venue, ultimately managing the corporate venue bookings, staffing, and exclusive event execution.
Job Qualifications
- Experience: 10+ years of progressive management experience in a high-volume, upscale restaurant, lounge, or premium bar setting.
- Event Expertise: Proven, documented track record of successfully capturing, planning, and executing high-volume event business (corporate networking, holiday buyouts, social functions).
- Opening Experience: Prior experience as an opening manager or launch lead is highly preferred.
- Operational Acumen: Full P&L literacy. Expert-level knowledge of labor optimization, beverage inventory management, and cost-of-goods-sold (COGS) tracking.
- Strong Recommendations: Ability to provide strong recommendations from prior industry roles.
- Vendor Relations: Experience managing third-party contracts, food trucks, or external catering partners.
Credentials: Must hold or be able to obtain all required Texas/Houston food handler and TABC certifications prior to launch.
Pay: $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
