Full Job Description

Texas Health School is looking for a full time Nursing instructor, who will be responsible for teaching the Nursing curriculum to the students enrolled in the program.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

Teaches assigned A DN courses
Keeps a record of attendance
Is punctual and is reliable in attendance
Grades assignments, quizzes, and exams, as per the syllabi.
Attends meetings on a regular basis
Provides progress update to the students
Develops academic plans for students who are not meeting the academic or attendance requirements required to be successful in the program.
Provides lab and tutorial support to the students
Clinical training of assigned students

Educational Requirement:

Master of Science in Nursing from an accredited institution preferred
Bachelor of Science in Nursing from an accredited institution required.
Active RN license from the Texas Board of Nursing

Experience:

At least six months to one year teaching experience as a nursing didactic instructor in a classroom setting
Three years’ experience in the clinical field as a registered nurse

Work Schedule:

Monday to Friday

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $75,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
