Accountant | $65000 – $75000 + Profit Sharing | Onsite | Direct Hire

Location: Minden, NE

Job Description

The Reserves Network is partnering with a respected and financially stable Nebraska employer to hire an Accountant for its Minden location. This is an excellent opportunity for an accounting professional seeking a well-rounded role with exposure to financial reporting, month-end close, accounts receivable, fixed assets, and cross-functional accounting support. You'll work closely with an experienced finance team while gaining broad accounting experience in an organization known for investing in its employees and promoting long-term career growth.

Key Responsibilities

Assist with month-end close, journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statement preparation
Support accounting activities across multiple business entities
Maintain general ledger accuracy and prepare recurring financial reports
Track fixed assets, capitalization, and related reporting
Prepare use tax filings and assist with audit and tax preparation
Cross-train with other departments to provide accounting support as needed

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in accounting or business with an emphasis in accounting preferred
Two or more years of general accounting experience preferred
Strong understanding of general ledger accounting and month-end close
Experience preparing reconciliations and financial reports
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
