As part of our shop team, you will be able to assist two key functions of the business. If you like variety, not having the same day over & over, this role will have just what you’re seeking.
Are you excited about this work?
- Follow all established safety protocols, maintaining documentation as required, including monthly fire extinguisher audits, weekly forklift inspections, monthly office air filter check and collaborating to help schedule annual inspections
- Coordinate with the logistics team to place orders with vendors as needed to maintain target inventory levels and/or meet job/project requirements, completing weekly audits for items low in inventory and monthly complete cycle counts
- Track incoming shipments to ensure target dates are met
- Ensure all inventory is received accurately, both physically and in the ERP system
- Assemble and/or rebuild parts/components as needed to ensure proper function or coordinate returns for faulty components to the vendor
- Pull required parts for customer jobs and/or shop use
- Resolve issues with end users when required to ensure satisfaction
- Develop/maintain job worksheets, including a Quality Checklist for each completed job or by stage, ensuring hours are allocated properly to projects for billing and completion tracking
- Develop and maintain an asset log for all power tools
- Other duties as assigned

- High School Diploma or GED
- Prior experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably working with parts/components
- Experience with the Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience in inventory maintenance
