*Job Summary*

We are seeking a Manual Machinist to join our team. The Machinist will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining in close tolerance machining on mill and/or lathe. We are seeking for someone with specific experience on at least two of the following: Milling Machine, Lathe, Surface Grinder, OD Grinder. The person will start with conventional machine background and transition the person to a Machinist, CM, Grinder.

*Duties*

Applicant must have the ability to work independently with limited supervision.
Set up and operate Milling Machine, Lathe, Surface Grinder, or OD grinder.
Use precision tools including micrometers, calipers, bore gauges, and coordinate measuring machines
Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards
Perform routine maintenance on machines
Collaborate other team members to improve production processes
Ability to indicate parts and fixtures.
Ability to balance and replace grinding
Ability to select proper abrasive type and grit for grinding

*Qualifications*

Combination of education and experience is a plus.
Die maker apprenticeship and grinding experience are a plus
