Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Probate & Estate Administration Legal Secretary to join our dynamic legal team. In this vital role, you will provide comprehensive administrative and legal support to the attorney specializing in probate, estate planning, and estate administration.

Duties

Prepare, review, and manage legal documents related to probate, estate administration, and trust matters, ensuring accuracy and compliance with procedural law.
Assist with estate planning documents, including wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and related legal instruments.
Support attorneys with project management tasks related to estate cases or probate proceedings to ensure deadlines are met efficiently.
Proofread legal documents for accuracy and clarity; prepare drafts for legal writing projects; assist in the creation of procedural documents for litigation or estate administration.

Experience

Proven legal support experience in probate law or estate administration is essential;
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously while adhering to deadlines.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills; capable of interviewing clients effectively to gather necessary information for estate proceedings.
Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) for document drafting and data entry; experience handling confidential information with discretion is required.
Paralegal experience or a background in legal administrative roles within law offices focusing on probate and estate administration.
