Job Description
Float Euphoria is a health and wellness spa in Kennewick offering esthetics, massage, acupuncture, cosmetic acupuncture, Thai Yoga stretching therapy, Reiki, Sunlighten Infrared Sauna, and zero-gravity floatation services in our Dreampods.
Our mission is to provide a warm, loving place of peace and relaxation where clients may experience a variety of healing modalities. We serve all people and foster an inclusive environment of all ages, genders, sexual orientations, races, colors, nationalities, religions, physical abilities, and everything else that makes us human. The beauty of humanity is rooted in our diversity.
Our team is growing, and we are seeking a Licensed Facial Esthetician and Wellness Coordinator to join us. This full-time hybrid role combines Esthetician services with Wellness Coordinator responsibilities supporting daily operation and client experience. Ideal candidates are passionate about skin health education, providing facial services, and exceptional customer care. We are looking for reliable, motivated self-starters with strong attention to detail and demonstrated initiative.
Your Role As Esthetician
We're looking for an esthetician who thinks and operates like they're running their own esthetics business. You bring an owner’s mindset and action: proactive, growth-focused, and invested in building something exceptional.
As esthetician, you will:
- Serve as the expert for esthetics at Float Euphoria, whether working solo or as part of a growing esthetics team.
- Take ownership of the client experience from consultation through results, treating every client relationship like it's core to your own reputation and business.
- Actively build your brand within Float Euphoria and help grow the esthetics program through client retention (build repeat clientele), retail product recommendations and sales, service upsells, referrals, and ideas for expanding our offerings.
- Stay current through continued professional education and self-directed learning; skincare and esthetics evolve constantly, and we expect our esthetician to evolve with it.
- Bring your own craft to the esthetics services we offer, while consistently meeting Float Euphoria's standards for quality, safety, cleanliness, positive attitude, and professionalism.
- Be a self-starter who doesn't need to be motivated; we are seeking someone who is consistent in seeing opportunities to improve the program and takes initiative to act on them from day one.
Esthetician Responsibilities
- Prepare the esthetics room for appointments and maintain treatment standards.
- Consult with clients and custom-tailor services to address skin concerns.
- Perform esthetics services including customized facials, back facials, dermaplaning, LED facials, cryotherapy facials, Pro Power Peels, and waxing.
- Provide skincare application, extractions, facial massage, and enhancements such as jelly masks, facial cupping, and cold globes.
- Educate clients on skincare, build repeat clientele, and upsell services and retail products.
- Complete session turnover, documentation, deep cleaning, inventory, product ordering, and product sales.
Wellness Coordinator Responsibilities
- Provide warm, professional, and attentive customer service in person, by phone, and via text.
- Manage a high-volume appointment schedule using custom spreadsheets and scheduling systems.
- Check clients in and out, book appointments, and accurately process payments.
- Maintain detailed scheduling notes and follow established procedures with precision.
- Scan, organize, and file digital and physical paperwork.
- Communicate with the team via Slack and participate in ongoing operational discussions.
- Perform opening and closing duties as assigned.
- Assist clients with float services, including providing orientations for first-time clients.
- Turn over float and sauna rooms between clients, including cleaning equipment and restocking.
- Maintain cleanliness throughout the facility, including lobby, treatment rooms, bathrooms, staff areas, and laundry (washing, drying, folding, and organizing).
Requirements
- Washington State Licensed Esthetician.
- Dermalogica certification (or demonstrated professional experience using Dermalogica products).
- Dermaplaning certification.
- Prior customer service experience.
- Solid computer skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Comfort using cleaning products and performing physical tasks.
- Strong time-management skills and the ability to handle competing priorities.
- Willingness to perform a significant amount of cleaning and operational support as part of daily responsibilities.
- Comfort working with large, detailed spreadsheets and learning custom scheduling systems.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and stay calm in a busy environment.
- Clear, professional communication skills.
- Reliability and consistency - this role depends on showing up and following through.
- Interest in steady, long-term employment.
If you've ever run your own book of clients or dreamed of building an esthetics program with the stability, support, and shared resources of an established wellness spa as an employee, this role is for you. If you are motivated and thrive to work across multiple areas of a growing wellness spa, this role is right for you.
