Full Job Description

LEGAL SECRETARY/ASSISTANT, for a small law office in the Franklin/Middletown/Lebanon area. Law office experience, law office training, law office education, or law office certification, required. Computer skills a must. Duties include typing, client and court contacts, file and client management, document preparation, drafting, filing. Experience in domestic relations, personal injury, civil and criminal litigation a plus. Applicant should be energetic, dedicated, efficient, reliable, and able to follow directions and work independently and also with other staff. Looking for a long-term employment relationship. Stated starting pay is negotiable depending on qualifications and experience. Annual bonuses available with regular raises depending on performance. Paid holidays and vacations, available paid time off. No weekend or night work required. Full time position available, 9-5 pm M-F, hour off for lunch. Respond with letter, resume, references, and salary expectations. Initial offer pay rates are not fixed and can be higher or lower depending on experience and performance.

Summary

As a Legal Assistant/Legal Secretary, you will be essential in supporting the legal team with administrative tasks and ensuring efficient law office operations. Your core skills in legal document preparation and review, and case management will be vital in handling our variety of clients and cases. You will also utilize your skills in legal drafting and client and court and attorney relationship management to enhance our operations. Skills in typing, filing, and organizational tasks will contribute to maintaining an orderly and productive work environment and client service.

Pay: From $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35.0 per week
