Full Job Description

We are seeking a line cook for an intimate, upscale restaurant attached to a private yacht club. We are open Tuesday - Saturday with occasional Sundays for holidays and NFL season. We have two lunch shifts and five dinner shifts a week, usually closing by 9 pm. This is primarily an evening position. Hours tend to be part-time during the summer, and are full time with some overtime opportunities in the winter.

Responsibilities:

- Work with the chef, servers and dish crew to keep the kitchen running smoothly
- Know how to prepare the menu
- Do prep work for the day/week as needed
- Keep the kitchen clean and organized, report any issues right away to the chef and office
- Abide by all health and safety laws, ensure we are in compliance for health inspections
- Work with our chef to come up with unique specials and menu offerings. We're a small and curated establishment, so this is a great place to hone skills to use in your future culinary career.
- Following training, you may take the lead on lunch service and slower dinner services

Requirements:

- Professional kitchen line cook experience
- English fluency
- A friendly attitude. As a private club we see the same folks week after week and have a small staff, so building positive relationships and implementing feedback with a good attitude is a must
- Show up neat, clean and on time
- A social security card and photo ID, or a passport (required by our payroll company)
