Description:Job Description: Sales Engineer

Classification: Exempt

Reports To: General Manager

Position Overview

The role of a Sales Representative at Alcrete is to actively engage with customers and prospective customers to develop new business opportunities within the precast concrete industry.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

Development of a target customer list.
Attending industry trade meetings and events.
Research planned public and private construction projects within target geographic market.
Travel (within 150-mile radius of Florida City) to customer locations to promote Alcrete product.
Travel (within 150-mile radius of Florida City) to customer project sites to monitor Alcrete field performance.
Solicitation of new project quote opportunities.
Coordination with Alcrete Engineering Team on the completion of project quotes.
Follow up with customers on submitted project quotes.

Requirements:Education and Experience

Industry experience within construction and/or construction materials.
Strong leadership and communication skills.
Excellent work ethic with a positive attitude and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment of teamwork and constant change.
Maintain clean, honest, and healthy image with customer contacts.
Advanced ability to communicate professionally and effectively within all levels of the organization.
