Own manufacturing for the world's first factory-built in-ground swimming pool — with real upside in what you help build.
About Ecopool
Most pools are built the way they were fifty years ago. We started over.
By designing our pool from a clean sheet of paper, we were never forced to engineer around legacy components that weren't the most reliable to begin with. The result is a genuinely new kind of swimming pool — a patented, factory-manufactured product made from structural steel that's about to change the industry.
Ecopool is a brand-new category of swimming pool, built on innovative factory manufacturing processes. We're moving from startup to scale, and we're hiring the leader who will build the operation that gets us there.
The Role
We're looking for a manufacturing leader with strong technical depth and a track record in high-volume environments — someone who has done real process optimization, not just managed around them.
You've succeeded at the intersection of materials, process, and people, and you know how to make manufacturing scalable. Above all, you'll be accountable for delivering quality product, on schedule, at growing volume.
You'll lead the transition from a startup operation into a lean manufacturer, set new production, quality, and cost targets, and give the team the training, tools, processes, and best practices to hit them in a fast-moving, high-growth environment.
What You'll Do
- Own end-to-end manufacturing / engineering — from raw material to finished pool — and deliver on time
- Own the quality control process so every pool ships right the first time
- Build the production system that takes us from startup to lean, high-volume manufacturer
- Identify bandwidth gaps and hire skilled Associates to fill them
- Recruit, train, and lead a results-oriented manufacturing team and culture
- Partner with industrial designers and engineers to improve designs and manufacturability
- Plan and equip production facilities as we scale
- Guide products to market on a tight, dependable schedule
What You Bring
Required
- 10+ years in manufacturing or manufacturing engineering, ideally in a high-volume environment
- Proven success leading and scaling manufacturing operations
- Deep knowledge of fabrication processes and technologies
- Strong quality control experience
- Experience across every phase of a product program — concept, prototype, and production
Preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial, Electrical, or Chemical Engineering (or equivalent experience)
- Experience taking an operation from startup to lean, scaled manufacturing
- Materials engineering background
Compensation & Benefits
- Phantom stock — share directly in the company's growth and upside as we scale
- Competitive base salary and meaningful performance bonuses
- Medical insurance
Let's Talk
If you're excited to build the manufacturing operation behind a first-of-its-kind product — from the factory floor up, with real ownership in the outcome — we want to hear from you.
