Full Job Description

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operating CNC machines (lathes and mills specifically) and a solid understanding of mechanical processes. This role involves fabricating, assembling, and machining components according to precise specifications. The CNC Machinist will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and accuracy of our production output.

Responsibilities

Operate CNC machines, including Fanuc-controlled equipment, to produce high-quality parts.
Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to understand project specifications.
Set up and adjust CNC machines for optimal performance, including tool changes and offsets.
Fabricate components using various machining techniques, ensuring adherence to GD&T standards.
Conduct regular maintenance on machines to ensure proper functionality and safety.
Assemble parts as needed, ensuring that all components fit together correctly.
Utilize forklift equipment for moving materials and finished products within the facility.
Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and improve production processes.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a CNC Machinist or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate various machining tools.
Proficiency in blueprint reading and understanding technical documentation.
Familiarity with GD&T principles is highly desirable.
Ability to work neatly and in an orderly fashion is a must.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team-oriented environment.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to evolving technologies in the field.
