Phlebotomist (FULL-TIME)

Job Description

Perform blood draws using venipuncture, finger sticks, and heel sticks.
Explain extraction procedures to patients to ease anxiety.
Label and log all blood vials with absolute accuracy.
Process specimens using centrifuges and prepare them for lab transit.
Maintain sterile workspaces and safely dispose of biohazardous materials.
Manage inventory by tracking and restocking blood collection supplies.

Qualifications

Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
Training: Graduation from an accredited phlebotomy program.
Certification: Current Certified Phlebotomy Technician (CPT) credential preferred.
Skills: Exceptional vein-finding precision and strong data entry skills.
Traits: Deep empathy, excellent communication, and strong diligence.
Stamina: Ability to stand for long intervals and lift up to 50 lbs.
