The Director of Enterprise Applications & Analytics is responsible for the strategic leadership, governance, implementation, optimization, and support of the organization's enterprise business systems and data analytics platforms. This role oversees the enterprise application portfolio, including ERP, CRM, HCM, BI, and other critical business systems, while driving data strategy, reporting, and analytics capabilities that enable operational excellence and informed decision-making.
The Director will partner closely with business leaders to align technology investments with organizational objectives, lead digital transformation initiatives, and ensure scalable, secure, and integrated solutions across the enterprise. A key responsibility of this role is leading technology integration efforts associated with mergers and acquisitions, including application rationalization, data migration, process harmonization, and post-acquisition system consolidation.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Enterprise Applications Leadership
Develop and execute the strategic roadmap for enterprise applications, ensuring alignment with business goals and growth initiatives.
Lead the selection, implementation, enhancement, and support of enterprise platforms, including ERP, CRM, HCM, supply chain, finance, manufacturing, and collaboration systems.
Establish governance, standards, and best practices for application architecture, integration, security, and lifecycle management.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize business processes and system performance.
Manage vendor relationships, software licensing, contracts, and service-level agreements.
Analytics & Business Intelligence
Define and lead the organization's data and analytics strategy.
Oversee enterprise reporting, dashboards, data warehousing, business intelligence, and self-service analytics capabilities.
Partner with business stakeholders to identify KPIs, performance metrics, and actionable insights.
Promote data governance, data quality, and data stewardship across the organization.
Leverage advanced analytics and emerging technologies to support strategic business objectives.
Mergers, Acquisitions & Integration Leadership
Lead IT due diligence efforts for mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and strategic partnerships.
Assess acquired companies' application landscapes, infrastructure, data assets, and business processes.
Develop and execute integration strategies, roadmaps, and transition plans for acquired entities.
Direct application consolidation, ERP integration, data migration, master data harmonization, and business process standardization initiatives.
Collaborate with executive leadership to ensure successful post-acquisition integration while minimizing operational disruption.
Identify and capture synergies, cost savings, and operational efficiencies through technology integration.
Team Leadership & Development
Build, mentor, and develop high-performing teams responsible for enterprise applications, integrations, reporting, and analytics.
Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, innovation, and continuous learning.
Establish performance goals, career development plans, and succession planning for team members.
Manage departmental budgets, resource planning, and project prioritization.
Strategic Business Partnership
Serve as a trusted advisor to executive leadership and functional stakeholders.
Translate business requirements into technology solutions that drive measurable outcomes.
Lead cross-functional initiatives supporting growth, scalability, and operational excellence.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, Information Systems, or related field.
7+ years of progressive experience managing enterprise applications, business systems, and analytics functions.
5+ years of leadership experience managing technical teams and enterprise-scale programs.
Experience in manufacturing, distribution, industrial, private equity-backed, or multi-site organizations.
Demonstrated experience leading ERP, CRM, BI, and enterprise application implementations.
Proven experience leading technology integration efforts related to mergers and acquisitions.
Strong understanding of data architecture, business intelligence, analytics platforms, and reporting solutions.
Experience with enterprise integrations, middleware, APIs, and data migration methodologies.
Experience with Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform
Strong project portfolio management and change management expertise.
Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and executive presentation skills.

Knowledge of data governance frameworks and modern data platforms.
PMP, ITIL, Agile, Six Sigma, or relevant certifications.
Salary:
$140,000-$165,000/year
