Full Job Description

The Hudson Valley Catskill Region REALTORS® (HVCRR) seeks an organized, administratively skilled, and detail-oriented team player to serve as our Education & Events Coordinator. This position:

· Provides scheduling, coordination, class monitoring, and logistical support for our professional development offerings, both virtual and in-person. This role is central to delivering high-quality educational offerings that support our members’ success and ensure compliance with industry standards.

· Provides scheduling, coordination, and on-site logistical support for our events throughout the year. This role is central to ensuring high-quality event experiences for our members and guests.

Responsibilities

Education/Professional Development

Coordinate all aspects of HVCRR’s education programming, including continuing education (CE) and non-CE classes, designation courses, and special training events
Serve as the primary point of contact for instructors, vendors, and sponsors
Manage class/course scheduling, attendance tracking, reporting, and room/virtual meeting scheduling
Ensure compliance with NYS Department of State continuing education requirements, maintaining and updating education records and certifications for members
Suggest opportunities to update, expand, or improve course offerings, based on member needs, and support the development of new programming
Provide guidance to members regarding education requirements for NY real estate licensure
Begin by administratively supporting the Education Committee’s Staff Liaison in that function, attending the meetings and reporting on progress/obstacles, while being trained to serve as a committee staff liaison

Events

Coordinate all aspects of HVCRR’s events, serving as the primary point of contact for venues and suppliers, including working closely with the Director of Operations or CEO on contract details
Begin by administratively supporting the Events Committee’s Staff Liaison in that function, attending the meetings and reporting on progress/obstacles, while being trained to serve as a committee staff liaison

Additional duties

Maintain organized digital records, educational/events calendars, and other internal systems
Take online training to become certified in code of ethics enforcement and arbitration service provision and work with/shadow the current Professional Standards Administrator to learn how to serve in this role

· Pitch in with answering the phone and provide general administrative support as needed

· Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Proficiency in the Microsoft Suite – Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Administrative or program management experience (association or real estate industry experience a plus)
Strong organizational and follow-through skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy and follow-through
Comfortable working with databases, spreadsheets, and registration systems
Professional, approachable, and service-oriented demeanor (customer service experience a plus)

Preferred Attributes

Familiarity with real estate education requirements (NYS CE)
Experience coordinating events or training programs
Experience with CRM systems, email platforms, or association management software
