Full Job Description

Overview

We are seeking a friendly and enthusiastic dental professional to join our dental front office team. This role is essential in creating a welcoming environment for our patients and ensuring the smooth operation of our practice. The ideal candidate will have experience in dental scheduling, dental insurance knowledge, insurance verification, proficient clerical skills, and a strong commitment to providing excellent customer service. Eaglesoft proficiency is preferred.

Duties

Have ability to manage high volume of phone calls and excellent communication skills.
Knowledge of PPO's, dental insurance verification and Explanation of Benefits.
Manage dental scheduling efficiently, ensuring that appointments are accurately scheduled and confirmed.
Operate phone systems to handle incoming calls, direct inquiries, and provide information as needed.
Utilize electronic health record systems within Eaglesoft dental software
Perform clerical tasks including data entry, filing, and maintaining patient records with attention to detail
Support the team by performing 10 key typing for various administrative tasks.
Address patient concerns promptly and professionally, fostering a positive experience while building lasting relationships with patients.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a dental office setting is required.
Familiarity with dental scheduling software, Eaglesoft is preferred
Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and staff.
Proficiency in using phone systems and handling multi-line calls.
Excellent clerical skills including attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Must be comfortable collecting copays and balances from patients
A positive attitude and willingness to learn new systems and processes.
