Peoplelink Staffing Solutions, in partnership with an established plastics manufacturing leader in Hamlet, IN, is seeking an experienced Maintenance & Facilities Manager to lead maintenance operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

This is an opportunity for a hands-on maintenance leader who knows how to diagnose problems, find the root cause, and get production back up and running. The ideal candidate will bring strong industrial maintenance experience along with the leadership skills needed to organize a maintenance team, prioritize work, and keep the facility operating safely and efficiently.
Lead, coordinate, and delegate daily activities for the Maintenance team.
Troubleshoot and repair industrial production equipment, machinery, and facility systems.
Diagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and equipment-related issues.
Respond to equipment breakdowns and minimize production downtime.
Develop and maintain preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
Identify recurring equipment problems and implement long-term solutions rather than temporary fixes.
Coordinate maintenance priorities with Production and other departments.
Assign work orders and ensure maintenance projects are completed efficiently and correctly.
Maintain equipment, tools, spare parts, and maintenance records.
Support installation, modification, and improvement of production equipment.
Promote a strong safety culture and ensure maintenance work is performed according to safety requirements.
Coach, develop, and hold maintenance team members accountable for performance and completion of assigned work.
Assist with planning shutdowns, major repairs, equipment upgrades, and capital projects.
Work closely with leadership to identify opportunities to improve equipment reliability, efficiency, and production uptime.
5+ years of industrial/manufacturing maintenance experience preferred.
Previous experience leading, supervising, or directing a maintenance team strongly preferred.
Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
Experience working with industrial machinery and automated production equipment.
Ability to troubleshoot hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
Ability to read and understand electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, manuals, and technical documentation.
Strong problem-solving and root-cause analysis skills.
Experience with preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
Ability to prioritize multiple maintenance issues in a fast-paced production environment.
Strong communication and leadership skills.
Must be comfortable being hands-on when the team needs technical support.
Ability to work independently, make decisions, and take ownership of maintenance operations.
Manufacturing experience in plastics, injection molding, packaging, or a similar high-volume production environment is highly preferred.
