Overview
Heartland Tree Service is looking for an experienced climber/ bucket operator to join our team.
The ideal person for this position. A skilled tree professional who takes pride in their work, works safely, and knows how to get things done.
This is not an entry-level training position. You should have legitimate professional tree experience and be comfortable contributing safely from day one.
What we’re looking for:
✅ Experienced tree climber
✅ Proficient bucket truck operator
✅ Comfortable with removals, pruning, rigging & technical tree work
✅ Able to safely operate chainsaws and other tree equipment
✅ Strong understanding of knots, rigging and safe work practices
✅ Reliable, hardworking and able to work as part of a team
✅ Takes initiative and doesn’t need to be babysat
- ISA certification, & CDL is a plus, but not required

We do a lot of large removals, technical removals, climbing, bucket work and production tree work. We have the equipment to do the job right, and we want people who know how to use it.

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour

- Do you have driver's license and reliable transportation?

- What kind of climbing techniques do you know? Please be descriptive
- What does ISA stand for?
- Where is the proper placement of a pruning cut made?
- List any/ all equipment you have experience on? (experience means an extensive amount of time running machines, not renting a skid steer one time on the weekend.)
- If we hired you tomorrow, would you need instruction and guidance on how to do your job? Or can you hop right into a crew and get things done?
