Full Job Description

Job Overview

We are seeking an Welder/Fabricator to join our manufacturing team. This role is responsible for performing welding and fabrication tasks, producing high-quality components, and ensuring work is completed safely, accurately, and on schedule. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, mechanically inclined, and skilled in multiple welding processes and fabrication equipment.

This is a full-time position, Monday-Friday from 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM CST

Key Responsibilities

Perform MIG, TIG, and stick welding on various metals, including steel, stainless steel, and aluminum.
Fabricate parts and assemblies from blueprints, sketches, and verbal instructions.
Set up and operate fabrication equipment including saws, brakes, shears, drills, and grinders.
Measure, cut, fit, and weld components with precision.
Verify dimensions and quality using appropriate tools.
Conduct routine inspection of welds for accuracy, quality, and structural integrity.
Maintain equipment and report any issues or needed repairs.
Follow all company safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area.
Support continuous improvement efforts within the fabrication department.

Qualifications

On job welding and metal fabrication experience preferred.
Proficient with MIG welding; TIG and stick welding.
Welding certifications a plus.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings a plus.
Skilled in using fabrication tools and machinery.
Strong math and measurement skills.
Ability to lift up to 80 lbs. and perform physical tasks throughout the shift.
High school diploma or equivalent; trade school certificate a plus.
Valid driver’s license preferred
