About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Workday HCM Analyst to join our HR Technology team. This role is responsible for the configuration, maintenance, and reporting of our Workday Human Capital Management platform, serving as a key resource for HR, Payroll, and business stakeholders across the organization.

Key Responsibilities
Configuration & System Administration
Configure and maintain Workday HCM modules including Core HR, Recruiting, Onboarding, Talent & Performance, Compensation, Benefits, Absence, and/or Time Tracking
Manage business process configurations, condition rules, notifications, and approval workflows
Administer security roles, user-based security groups, and domain policies in alignment with governance standards
Support bi-annual Workday release cycles — assess feature impact, perform testing, and implement updates
Troubleshoot system issues, identify root causes, and deliver timely resolutions for end-user requests
Maintain system documentation including configuration workbooks, business process maps, and change logs
Reporting & Analytics
Design, build, and maintain Workday reports including Standard, Advanced, Matrix, Composite, and Trending report types
Develop calculated fields and report filters to meet complex business reporting requirements
Build and maintain Workday Dashboards and Worklets to support HR and leadership visibility into key workforce metrics
Partner with HR, Payroll, Finance, and other stakeholders to gather reporting requirements and deliver actionable data insights
Support data audits and ensure accuracy and integrity of Workday data across modules
Assist in the development of self-service reporting capabilities for HR Business Partners and managers
Stakeholder Partnership & Support
Serve as a day-to-day point of contact for HR, Payroll, and business users on Workday-related questions and system requests
Gather and document business requirements, translating them into effective Workday configurations and reporting solutions
Deliver end-user training, job aids, and documentation to support adoption of new features and processes
Partner with HRIS, IT, and Payroll teams to ensure cross-functional alignment on system changes and enhancements
Participate in HR technology projects including new module deployments, system enhancements, and process improvement initiatives
Governance & Continuous Improvement
Follow change management and governance processes for all system configuration updates
Identify opportunities to improve system efficiency, automate manual processes, and enhance the employee and manager experience
Stay current with Workday product releases, new features, and industry best practices
Maintain data integrity standards and support compliance requirements across HCM modules
Required Qualifications
3+ years of hands-on Workday HCM experience including both configuration and reporting
Proficiency in configuring at least two or more Workday HCM modules (Core HR, Recruiting, Compensation, Benefits, Talent, Absence, or Time Tracking)
Demonstrated experience building Advanced, Matrix, and/or Composite reports in Workday
Experience with calculated fields, business process configuration, and condition rules
Solid understanding of Workday security framework including role-based and user-based security
Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and data accuracy
Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical HR stakeholders
Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver in a fast-paced, remote environment
Preferred Qualifications
Workday HCM Pro certification in one or more modules
Experience with Workday integrations (EIB, Core Connectors, or Studio)
Familiarity with Workday Prism Analytics or People Analytics
Experience supporting a Workday implementation or major module deployment
Knowledge of HR processes and compliance requirements across the employee lifecycle
Experience with Agile or iterative delivery methodologies
Prior experience in a regulated industry (financial services, healthcare, life sciences) a plus
Education
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field required

Standard business hours; time zone flexibility considered for the right candidate

Base Salary: Up to $125,000 depending on experience
