Full Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized, proactive, and trustworthy House Manager & Family Assistant to support a busy family and oversee the day-to-day operations of the household. This role combines household management, family logistics, vendor coordination, and support for school-aged children.

The ideal candidate is experienced, resourceful, detail-oriented, and able to anticipate needs while maintaining professionalism, discretion, and a positive attitude.

Key Responsibilities

Child & Family Support

Coordinate school, activity, and appointment transportation
Support daily routines, homework, organization, and family meal preparation
Communicate with schools, tutors, coaches, and other providers as needed
Help maintain structure, accountability, and organization for the children
Keep parents informed of schedules, updates, and family logistics

Household Management

Oversee the daily operation of the home and ensure it runs efficiently
Coordinate vendors, contractors, housekeeping, and service providers
Manage household supplies, groceries, deliveries, and inventory
Track maintenance needs, warranties, and household records
Maintain a clean, organized, and well-prepared home environment

Scheduling, Travel & Administration, Special Projects

Manage family calendars, appointments, and household schedules
Coordinate travel arrangements, trip preparation and packing
Maintain household records, contacts, and organizational systems
Support special projects, errands, purchases, returns, and other family needs

Events & Pet Support

Assist with family gatherings, celebrations, and home events
Coordinate event vendors and logistics as needed
Support pet appointments, supplies, and daily care routines

Professional Qualifications & Expectations

5+ years of experience as a House Manager, Family Assistant, Personal Assistant, or in a similar household support role, with experience supporting families with school-aged children.
Exceptional organizational, multitasking, and communication skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and adapt to changing family needs.
High level of professionalism, discretion, sound judgment, and reliability, with a strong commitment to maintaining confidentiality at all times.
Present a polished, professional, and well-groomed appearance, and wear attire appropriate for a private household environment and interactions with children, guests, schools, and service providers.
Comfortable around large dogs.
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; CPR/First Aid certification is a plus.

Pay: $75,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
