Full Job Description

Job Summary

The Mortgage Funder serves as the definitive checkpoint within the loan production lifecycle, managing the critical transition of a file from "Approved" to "Funded" status. This role is responsible for executing a meticulous final audit of the loan package to ensure total alignment with compliance standards, guidelines, and underwriting conditions.

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with title, escrow, settlement agents, and attorneys to facilitate the closing of residential mortgage loans.
Ensure the accuracy and timely delivery of Closing Disclosures and closing documents.
Ensure regulatory compliance on all closings, including, but not limited to, QM and TRID.
Review loan files to ensure all conditions of loan approval have been met and signed off by the appropriate parties.
Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to handle delicate situations with diplomacy and tact.
Adhere to all federal and state laws and regulations, including the Bank Secrecy Act.

Skills and Qualifications:

Over 1 year of recent, relevant experience in a process-oriented role, preferably within the residential mortgage industry.
High proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
Strong organizational skills, reflecting an ability to perform and prioritize multiple time-sensitive tasks seamlessly without compromising quality.
A proven commitment to maintaining the absolute confidentiality of bank and customer information.

Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
