JOB

Assistant Town Clerk/Tax Collector

The Town of Farmington is seeking a skilled, proactive and motivated candidates to assist and support the Town Clerk/Tax Collector in day-to-day operations, as well as providing direct customer service to residents.

Key Responsibilities:

Processing Motor Vehicle Registrations
Processing and maintaining vital records
Property tax and utility payment collections
Processing dog licenses
Assisting with the administration of Local and State elections.

What We’re Looking For:

A highly organized, flexible, self-starter with strong multi-tasking, customer service and math skills to work in a fast-paced environment.
Candidate does not have to be a Farmington resident, but it is preferred.

Education:

A high school diploma or equivalent and one year of office and money handling experience preferred

Starting Pay: $19.00 – $21.00 per hour

Hours: Part-Time, 21.5 hours per week, Monday & Tuesday 8:15 a.m. – 5:15 p.m. and Friday 8:15 – 12:45 p.m.
Location: Farmington, New Hampshire
