Rickenbaugh Automotive has been a trusted name in Denver of over 80years. As a family-owned dealership, we've built our reputation on integrity, craftsmanship, and taking care of people-both our customers and our team. We/re looking for a Service Manager who leads like a coach, not a boss.

The Role

This isn't a job for someone who wants to sit in a office and push paperwork. We need a leader who's on the floor, in the fight, and invested in the growth of every technician and advisor on the team. You'll set the tone for the department-accountability paired with genuine care, high standards, paired with patience for the process of getting there.

Confident and self-starting, you don't wait to be told. Resourceful enough to find a way when the obvious path is blocked. Sincere and optimistic with your team and customers. Introspective enough to keep sharpening yourself, patient enough to coach others through mistakes. Quick on your feet, driven by results, thorough and precise in the details, and self-disciplined enough to hold yourself to the standard first.

What you'll do

Lead, mentor, and develop a team of technicians and service advisors, building a culture of accountability and pride in the work.
Drive department performance-CSI, fixed coverage ratio, RO count, and shop efficiency-through people, not just processes.
Coach team members individually, identifying strengths and helping close skill gaps.
Own the customer experience end to end, resolving concerns with sincerity and follow through.
Partner with parts, sales, and dealership leadership to keep operations running smoothly.
Continuously look for smarter ways to solve problems-resourcefulness matters.
Ability to write and close repair orders so you can train and coach service advisors in their day to day tasks.

This position will require previous service experience of at least 5 years with 3 being in a service manager role. References will be required to prove that the applicant has acquired the knowledge and skills to Lead, Coach, and Drive results from a team. Knowledge of CDK, Service Edge, is also important, but not required. Applicant must also have a high school diploma or GED at a minimum.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $110,000.00 - $175,000.00 per year
