Director of Nursing

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Director of Nursing to join our team at Twin Fountains Home for Nursing and Rehabilitation in LaGrange, Georgia. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of quality patient care and adhering to regulatory standards. Responsibilities:

Provide strategic leadership and direction to the nursing department, ensuring compliance with regulatory agencies and organizational policies
Develop and implement effective nursing practices, policies, and procedures to improve patient outcomes and satisfaction
Foster a positive and supportive work environment, promoting collaboration and open communication among nursing staff, interdisciplinary teams, and vendors
Recruit, train, and evaluate nursing staff, providing mentorship and coaching to enhance professional development
Conduct daily rounds, monitor patient care, and address concerns or issues in a timely and professional manner
Collaborate with medical staff, other departments, and vendors to ensure seamless patient care transitions and effective communication
Participate in budget planning, resource allocation, and quality improvement initiatives to optimize department operations
Maintain accurate records, reports, and data to support regulatory compliance and quality improvement efforts

Requirements:

Minimum of [2] years of experience in nursing leadership or management
Current RN license in the state of Georgia
Proven track record of successful nursing leadership and team management
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities
