Full Job Description

Great environment and opportunity, direct hire! We have an opening for a Warehouse Work / Inspector at our location in Sturgis, MI! The job responsibilities involves mainly inspecting / listing products online. The hours are:

Monday 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM

Tuesday 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM

Wednesday 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM

Thursday 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM

Friday 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM ** Occasionally later if needed.

Overtime work is available as well.

Vistacore is a small locally owned and growing e-commerce business founded in 2008 in Holland, MI. The Sturgis warehouse is our third location, in addition to locations in Holland, MI and Byron Center, MI. We are unique to the area that is mostly a manufacturing sector. With us - You will learn what online retail/liquidation business is about. Currently our team includes over 40 people between our three existing warehouse locations. Our team members are not just employees or "numbers", we build great working relationships. We promote independent work over micromanagement.

The position starts at $17.00/hr (base), and there are many incentives in form of weekly performance bonuses. The weekly performance bonuses are based on the number of items you can inspect a day and can be as much as $200 per week, which in 40 hours week is an additional $6.25/hr totaling with the base pay to $23.25/hr!

Responsibilities and Duties

-processing, inspecting and moving inventory. This includes but is not limited to: handling, lifting, sorting, scanning, picking, pricing, packaging and boxing

-entering the gathered information to a computer PC

-attention to detail and productivity are key, as well as positive attitude and flexibility

Requirements

-meet daily minimum volume of product processed

-excellent knowledge of internet browsing and overall computer use

-physically able to perform heavy work: exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, 50 pounds of force frequently, and 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects

-capable of working in a fast-paced environment

-able to work for entire shift at a fast pace in a physically demanding job
