This isn't a typical front desk job.
We're looking for someone who actually cares about people.
At Functional Restoration Institute, we're a husband-and-wife chiropractic sports medicine and functional medicine practice in Mission Viejo. A lot of our patients come to us after trying everything. They've seen doctors, specialists, therapists, chiropractors, and everyone in between. They're frustrated, they're tired of being told to “just live with it,” and they're looking for someone who will actually listen.
That starts the moment they call us.
The person at our front desk has a bigger impact on the patient experience than most people realize. You're often the first person they talk to, the person they see when they walk in, and the person helping them stay connected to their care.
We're looking for someone who takes that seriously.
You don't need a medical background. You don't need a perfect resume.
What matters more to us is that you're dependable, personable, confident talking to people, and you genuinely like helping others.
If you've ever owned a business, led a team, worked in a fast-paced environment, or simply had a lot of responsibility on your shoulders, that's a big plus. We value people who know how to take ownership and get things done without needing to be told every little thing.
What you'll be doing
- Welcoming patients and making them feel comfortable from the moment they walk in
- Calling new leads and following up with people who have reached out to us
- Helping new patients get scheduled and making sure they know what to expect
- Checking in with existing patients and helping keep them on track with their care
- Answering calls, texts, and emails
- Helping with some of our social media and day-to-day marketing
- Keeping the front desk organized and making sure things run smoothly

We're looking for someone who wants to stay and grow with us. This isn't a temporary job or a place to sit at a desk and watch the clock until 6 PM.
If you want a job where you can actually get to know your patients, be part of a small team, have a lot of responsibility, and see the difference you make in people's lives, you might be a great fit.
And if you're the kind of person who sees something that needs to be done and just does it, we'd especially like to hear from you.
If this sounds like you, we'd love to meet you.
