Operations Manager – Event Production, Logistics & Team Leadership

The FotoBoyz is a fast-moving event entertainment company producing events throughout South Florida and across the country.

Our warehouse may be preparing multiple events at the same time. Equipment has to be tested. Graphics have to be correct. Staff has to be scheduled and trained. Trucks have to leave complete. Problems have to be solved before they become emergencies.

We are looking for an Operations Manager who can own that process.

This is not a position for someone who wants to sit behind a desk and send emails.

We need a hands-on leader who can walk into a busy warehouse, understand what needs to happen, establish priorities, hold people accountable, and make sure every event is ready to go.

The right person will become a key leader within FotoBoyz and help us continue building a company that runs on systems, accountability and clear processes—not tribal knowledge.

What You Will Own

As Operations Manager, you will oversee the operational flow of the company from event preparation through execution and return.

You will work across our warehouse, event staff, quality control, graphics and equipment operations to make sure everyone is working from the same plan.

Your responsibilities will include:

Lead the Daily Operation
Set priorities, communicate expectations and make sure the team knows exactly what needs to happen each day.

Manage People and Accountability
Supervise operational team members, including the Warehouse Manager, and help coordinate event personnel. Follow up, inspect work and make sure commitments are actually completed.

Own Event Readiness
Before equipment leaves our building, you should know that it has been tested, prepared, branded correctly, packed correctly and assigned to the right event.

Oversee Multiple Events at Once
During busy periods, several events may be preparing, leaving, operating and returning at the same time. You need to be able to see the entire board—not just one event.

Build and Enforce Systems
Help create, improve and enforce SOPs, checklists, QC procedures, training processes and operational workflows.

We are actively building our systems using tools such as Connecteam and other digital management platforms. We want someone who embraces technology and documentation rather than relying on memory.

Train and Develop the Team
Help onboard new employees, reinforce company procedures and make sure people understand not only what to do, but the FotoBoyz standard for doing it.

Manage Equipment and Inventory Readiness
Make sure equipment is maintained, repairs are identified early, consumables are stocked and upcoming event requirements are anticipated.

Solve Problems in Real Time
Equipment fails. Clients make changes. Events move. Employees call out.

We don't need someone who freezes or immediately passes every problem upstairs.

We need someone who stays calm, evaluates the situation, communicates clearly and finds the solution.

Be Hands-On
This is an event production company. There will be times when leadership means walking the warehouse floor, checking equipment yourself, helping solve a loading issue or being involved at an event.

Who We’re Looking For

You may come from event production, logistics, hospitality, manufacturing, warehouse operations, rentals or another fast-moving operational environment.

Industry experience is valuable, but your mindset and leadership ability matter even more.

You are probably a strong fit if:

You stay calm when things don't go according to plan.
You take ownership instead of saying, “That's not my department.”

This Role Is NOT For Everyone

This probably isn't the right job if you:

Prefer a predictable 9-to-5 environment every day.
Don't like managing people.
Avoid difficult conversations.
Need someone constantly telling you what to do next.
Are uncomfortable working around equipment and warehouse operations.
Believe managing means sitting in an office while everyone else does the work.
Struggle when priorities change quickly.

Events happen nights and weekends, and our Operations Manager needs to understand that the job occasionally requires after-hours, weekend or last-minute involvement, particularly during high season.

That doesn't mean being at every event.

It does mean taking ownership when the operation needs leadership.

What Success Looks Like

We will know you're succeeding when:

Monday mornings are organized instead of chaotic.
Every upcoming event has a clear preparation plan.
Employees know their responsibilities.
Equipment problems are discovered days before an event—not hours before it.
Trucks leave with everything they are supposed to have.
Graphics and customization are completed correctly.
New employees are trained through a repeatable process.
Our SOPs and systems stay current.
Issues are handled at the appropriate management level instead of everything being escalated.
Leadership can step away from day-to-day operations knowing the operation is being run properly.

Qualifications

2+ years of operations, logistics, event production, warehouse or comparable management experience preferred
Demonstrated experience supervising employees
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
Experience creating or following SOPs, checklists and operational systems
Comfortable learning platforms such as Connecteam and other business technology
Comfortable working in a hands-on warehouse and event-production environment
Available for occasional evenings, weekends and urgent operational needs during peak periods
Must work in person at our Boynton Beach facility
Ideally located within approximately 30 minutes of Boynton Beach
