Position Overview
The Entry-Level Glazier will work alongside experienced glaziers while learning the skills necessary to become a professional glass installer.
This is an opportunity for someone who is interested in construction, skilled trades, or glass installation and wants to build a long-term career.
You will be expected to learn proper installation techniques, safely handle glass and materials, maintain a clean jobsite, and become increasingly independent as your skills develop.
Responsibilities
- Assist experienced glaziers with commercial and residential glass installations
- Learn proper glass handling and installation procedures
- Assist with storefront systems
- Assist with installation of commercial and residential doors and windows
- Assist with shower enclosure installations
- Assist with mirror installations
- Learn proper caulking and sealing techniques
- Load, unload, move, and safely handle glass and materials
- Use hand and power tools under appropriate supervision
- Take accurate measurements as instructed
- Follow installation instructions and direction from senior team members
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow all company safety procedures
- Protect customer property and finished surfaces
- Communicate with the crew regarding materials, measurements, and jobsite conditions
- Learn how to identify potential installation problems
- Work as part of a team to complete projects efficiently and correctly
- Continue developing skills with the goal of advancing to Glazier II
Qualifications
- No previous glazing experience required
- Construction, carpentry, remodeling, or general labor experience is a plus
- Willingness to learn the glass trade
- Strong work ethic

Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
