We are seeking a driven, professional, and highly communicative Inside Sales & Business Development Coordinator to help create new sales opportunities for our kitchen and bath remodeling team every day.
The core objective of this position is proactive sales activity. This person will consistently work the phones, respond to and follow up with leads, initiate conversations, uncover customer needs, build rapport, and move qualified prospects toward an appointment with the sales and design team.
This is a multi-layered sales position with commission-based incentives. Success requires energy, persistence, strong follow-through, and a genuine motivation to turn conversations into opportunities. Additional showroom and administrative responsibilities support the sales process, but daily phone activity, lead engagement, and opportunity generation are the primary focus of the role.
Knowledge of kitchen and bath remodeling, construction, cabinetry, countertops, or interior design is a plus, but is not required. We are willing to train the right person who brings a strong sales mindset, professionalism, reliability, and a desire to learn.
Primary Sales Responsibilities
- Consistently work the phones throughout the day to connect with new and existing prospects and create sales conversations.
- Respond quickly and professionally to incoming leads from phone calls, website inquiries, referrals, advertising, showroom traffic, and other lead sources.
- Proactively follow up with prospective customers, including leads who have not yet scheduled, gone quiet, or require multiple contacts before moving forward.
- Ask effective questions to understand remodeling goals, project needs, timing, and level of interest.
- Build rapport, communicate value, overcome hesitation professionally, and confidently ask for the appointment.
- Convert qualified conversations into scheduled in-home consultations, showroom appointments, or other sales meetings.
- Create a consistent pipeline of new opportunities for the sales team through disciplined daily outreach and follow-up activity.
- Maintain momentum with active prospects by establishing clear next steps and following through on commitments.
- Accurately document leads, conversations, appointments, follow-up activity, outcomes, and next steps in the appropriate systems.
- Communicate relevant customer information to sales team members so they are prepared for each opportunity.
Additional Sales Support Responsibilities
- Engage showroom visitors as potential customers by learning about their remodeling needs and guiding them toward the appropriate sales next step.
- Support scheduling and coordination for sales consultations, showroom appointments, and related meetings.
- Maintain a professional, organized, and customer-ready showroom environment.
- Develop strong working knowledge of the company's products, services, remodeling process, and terminology in order to communicate confidently with prospective customers.
- Assist with sales-related administrative tasks and other team responsibilities as needed, while keeping proactive selling activity as the priority.
