Job Posting: Mommy Mentor Network Program Assistant

Job Description

Youth With A Purpose is excited to announce an opening for a part-time Mommy Mentor Network Program Assistant. This position is an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about making a meaningful impact in the lives of mothers and children. As a key component of the Mommy Mentor Network, the Program Assistant supports initiatives that empower mothers through education, mentoring, and community support. This role is integral in helping maintain and expand our services. Please note, this position is not remote and will require the candidate to be onsite at our facilities.

The Mommy Mentor Network Program Assistant will work closely with the Program Manager to facilitate the smooth operation of our community-based programs. Duties and Responsibilities

Assist the Mommy Mentor Network Program Manager in daily administrative tasks.
Watch and care for children in the daycare center, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment.
Support at community events, including preparation, execution, and follow-up activities.
Facilitate communication between the program staff and participating families.
Help prepare materials and resources for workshops and mentoring sessions.
Collect, organize, and manage data related to program participants and outcomes.
Participate in training and development sessions to improve skills and program effectiveness.
Maintain a clean and organized program area in line with health and safety standards.
Assist with the development of promotional materials and program announcements.
Provide logistical support for the program, including scheduling and inventory management.

Requirements

Proven experience in childcare or educational programs preferred.
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to organize and prioritize multiple activities to meet all external and internal deadlines.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Maintain a safe work environment and confidentiality at all times.
Be proactive, creative, and flexible in determining, evaluating, researching, and resolving issues.
Maintain professional demeanor that reflects positively on the agency.
Demonstrate respect and courtesy toward others.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently with minimal supervision.
High school diploma required; Associate's or Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.
Basic computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
