Full Job Description

Step into a role where your expertise as an Occupational Therapist can make a meaningful impact in an educational setting. This contract opportunity offers the chance to work with a diverse student population during the 2026-2027 academic year, supporting learners across various grade levels. With a manageable 10-hour weekly commitment, you’ll find the schedule ideal for maintaining a healthy work-life balance.

Ideal candidates bring prior experience in school-based occupational therapy and a passion for helping students reach their highest potential. You will collaborate with educators and families, providing essential interventions that foster student growth, independence, and classroom participation. Flexibility is valued, as the schedule allows input on which days you work throughout the week.

Preferred Qualifications:

Valid Occupational Therapist license in Ohio
Experience in a school or pediatric setting
Knowledge of IEP process, documentation, and progress monitoring
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Ability to adapt services to various grade levels
Organizational skills and attention to detail
Problem-solving mindset and positive attitude

Key Responsibilities:

Provide occupational therapy services to students in accordance with IEPs
Conduct student assessments and develop treatment plans
Collaborate with teachers, staff, and parents to support individualized student needs
Track therapy progress, maintain accurate documentation, and participate in meetings
Adjust therapy approaches based on student progress and needs
Educate staff on strategies and accommodations for student success
