Full Job Description

Job Overview
We are seeking dedicated, hard-working team members to join our front-of-house team at our newest location in Tysons, VA. In this role, you’ll greet guests, take and prepare orders with care, handle transactions, and keep our space clean and welcoming. The ideal candidate is dependable, works well in a fast-paced environment, and is committed to providing excellent customer service every day. Responsibilities

Greet customers warmly and take their orders at the register.
Operate point-of-sale (POS) system to process customer orders accurately.
Answer any customer questions about menu items.
Upsell bakery products to enhance customer experience and increase sales.
Pack up pastry and food orders with care and call out customer orders.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bakery adhering to sanitation guidelines.
Handle cash transactions responsibly, ensuring accurate cash handling practices.
Support back of house and baristas as needed.
Restock supplies (cups, bags, gloves, deli paper, etc.) throughout the shift.
Follow food safety protocols to ensure the quality and safety of all products served.
During the closing shift, thoroughly clean and organize the bakery and complete all end-of-day tasks to ensure the space is spotless, well-prepared, and ready for a smooth start the next day.
Collaborate with team members to create a positive work environment focused on teamwork and efficiency.

Requirements

Previous experience in food service or a fast-paced restaurant environment is preferred but not mandatory.
Basic math skills for cash handling and retail math applications.
Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor towards customers and a positive attitude is a must.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail an providing excellent and efficient service.
Willingness to learn new skills and be trained in other areas of the bakery if the opportunity arises is a plus.
Weekend availability is preferred.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $12.50 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 – 40 per week
