STEADY PROJECTS
We are currently building dedicated installation coverage across Northwest Indiana and are looking for up to three experienced Remodeling Finish Carpenters, with dedicated coverage planned for Lake County, Porter County, and LaPorte County.
Our goal is to keep strong carpenters working primarily in the county they already know, so they can spend less time driving across Northwest Indiana and more time doing great work, taking care of homeowners, building a reputation, and establishing long-term roots in the county where they live.
You already know how to build. Maybe you have spent years working for yourself, finding the jobs, meeting homeowners, writing estimates at night, collecting checks, buying materials, doing the installation, and then starting all over again looking for the next project.
Or maybe you are working for another remodeling company, doing high-level work every day, but you have reached the ceiling on what you can earn and where you can go.
America’s Construction Experts is looking for experienced finish carpenters who want to spend more of their time doing what they are actually great at: building.
WHO WE ARE:
America’s Construction Experts has served homeowners since 2011 and completed more than 1,500 installations. Today, as part of One Beautiful Home®, we are continuing to expand our in-house remodeling and installation teams throughout Northwest Indiana.
Our responsibility is to sell the projects, manage the customer relationship, and keep quality work moving. Your responsibility is to take care of the homeowner and deliver craftsmanship you are proud to put your name behind.
WHAT YOU CAN EARN:
This is a W-2 carpenter position paying $40–$45 per hour based on experience, skill level, and demonstrated ability.
We are looking for experienced professionals who can work independently, solve problems in the field, follow project specifications, and complete high-quality remodeling work. This is not an entry-level carpenter position.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
We are specifically looking for finish and remodeling carpenters with professional experience completing:
Bathroom remodels
Kitchen remodels
Basement finishing
Interior and exterior doors
Baseboard, casing, crown, and finish trim
Cabinet installation
Flooring
Framing and drywall associated with remodeling
General interior renovation work
You do not have to know everything .You do need to have a strong remodeling background, understand finish quality, know how to work inside an occupied home, and be able to complete projects without someone standing over your shoulder all day.
WHAT YOUR DAY LOOKS LIKE:
You show up to an established project with a defined scope of work. You work with our team, follow the project plan, communicate when something needs attention, and take responsibility for the quality of your installation.
You are not spending your evenings chasing leads, running sales appointments, writing estimates, advertising your business, or wondering where the next project is coming from. We handle the business. You build.
WHO WILL DO WELL HERE:
The right carpenter takes pride in the details homeowners notice. You understand that a bathroom is not finished because the tile is on the wall. Doors need to close correctly. Trim joints need to look right. Cabinets need to be level. Floors need to transition properly.
The jobsite needs to stay organized, and the homeowner’s house needs to be respected. You also understand that remodeling requires problem solving. Existing homes are rarely perfect, and experienced carpenters know how to identify a problem, communicate it, and help find the right solution.
