Conduct Curb is a dedicated family-centered agency that utilizes Applied Behavior Analysis to provide intensive behavioral intervention and skill development services to children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder.

Job Description

Summary/Objective

As a Registered Behavior Technician, the incumbent will be responsible for providing daily, one-on-one ABA treatment services based on treatment plans and behavior plans developed by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)/Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA) and under the supervision of the BCBA, BCaBA, and Program Coordinator (PC).

Essential Function

Adhere to the RBT standards in the BACB Professional and Ethical Compliance Code for Behavior Analysts (http://bacb.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/03/160321-compliance-code-english.pdf).
Recognize and abide by boundaries of practice set forth in the BACB RBT Task List (http://bacb.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/03/160321-RBT-task-list.pdf).
Provide individual ABA therapy services to Conduct Curb consumers diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder.
Collect daily data on client behavior/goals and notes progress as directed.
Implement skill acquisition programs developed by the supervising behavior analyst.
Address problem behaviors of clients: also assist fellow staff members in addressing problem behaviors of other clients (e.g., assist with safe physical management as requested and needed).
Provide support to the BCBA / BCaBA or PC when requested.
Provide pertinent feedback to BCBA / BCaBA or PC on client behavior, progress, concerns, needs, etc.
Demonstrate professionalism and leadership by maintaining a positive attitude, supporting team morale, and modeling best therapy practices.
Assist in clinical observations of new/potential clients as requested.
Assist in assessments by conducting direct testing when directed BCBA, BCaBa, Program Coordinator.
Direct parent questions/concerns to BCBA, BCaBa, Program Coordinator.
Perform other duties as assigned by the BCBA, BCaBA, or Program Coordinator.
Implement Behavior Intervention Plan developed by the supervising behavior analyst.
Assist BCBA/BCaBA and Program Coordinator when requested (i.e., gather program materials etc.).
Actively participate and engage in training provided by BCBA/BCaBA, Program Coordinator and Clinical Trainer.
Implement feedback/training provided by BCBA/BCaBA and Program Coordinator.
Assist in assessments as directed by the BCBA/BCaBA and Program Coordinator.
Complete daily clinical therapy notes before the end of each workday..
Must meet a minimum of thirty (30) billable hours per week.

Physical Demands

The Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) may be required to stand for extended periods of time, lift, move, or assist children and therapy equipment/materials as needed on a regular basis, and/or do repetitive tasks with few breaks. RBTs may also be required to use various methods of safe physical management techniques to ensure the safety of Conduct Curb clients and staff.

Required Education and Experience

High school degree/diploma or equivalent
Experience and expertise in working with individuals diagnosed with ASD, disabilities, and behavior challenges.
Completion of Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Credential. Credential must be active and in good standing within the past 12 months.

Preferred Education and Experience

Trained in safe physical management techniques (or able to attend and participate in safe physical management technique training)

Additional Eligibility Requirements

Must be 18 years of age or older.
Must pass criminal and sexual abuse background checks.
Must provide proof of clean TB and drug tests.
