About the Role:

The Inside Sales Representative drives sales growth within assigned Home Depot stores through proactive outbound calling, strong store relationships, product support, and consistent follow-up with associates, department supervisors, designers, and Pro Desk teams.

Key Skills and Responsibilities:

Store Sales & Relationship Support

· Call assigned Home Depot stores regularly to build relationships, answer questions, and support sales activity.

· Serve as the primary inside contact for store associates, department supervisors, designers, and Pro Desk teams.

· Promote products, programs, special-order opportunities, displays, and local sales initiatives.

Account Support & Follow-Up

· Assist stores with product selection, specifications, quotes, pricing questions, and order support.

· Identify sales opportunities, generate qualified leads, and coordinate follow-up with outside sales or territory managers.

· Help resolve store and customer issues quickly while partnering with customer service, operations, and logistics teams.

Reporting & Team Collaboration

· Maintain accurate CRM records for store contacts, opportunities, call activity, and follow-up actions.

· Track store trends, competitive feedback, and program results; share updates with sales leadership.

· Partner with sales, marketing, product management, customer service, and operations to improve store performance.

Qualifications

· 2+ years of inside sales, retail sales, customer service, or account management experience.

· Strong telephone communication, relationship-building, organization, and follow-up skills.

· Ability to manage multiple stores, priorities, and sales opportunities at the same time.

· Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM tools.

· Home Depot, home improvement retail, cabinetry, millwork, kitchen and bath, or building products experience preferred.

Physical Requirements & Compensation

· Ability to work at a computer and communicate by phone, video, and email for extended periods.

· Occasional travel for store visits, customer meetings, or sales events may be required.

· Base salary plus performance-based incentive/bonus opportunity and standard benefits package.
