Physician – Interventional Pain Management

Epic Pain Management | Laredo, TX

Epic Pain Management is a modern, rapidly growing interventional pain medicine practice built around individualized, patient-centered care. With multiple locations across Texas, we provide comprehensive pain management services in a collaborative, innovative, and physician-focused environment.

We are seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Interventional Pain Management Physician (MD/DO) with fellowship training to join our expanding team. We welcome physicians who are completing fellowship as well as experienced providers looking for more than just a position—they are looking for an opportunity to build, grow, and make an impact within a thriving organization.

Key Responsibilities

Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with acute and chronic pain conditions, including spinal, neuropathic, and accident-related injuries
Develop individualized treatment plans utilizing evidence-based, minimally invasive approaches
Perform fluoroscopy-guided interventional pain procedures, including:
- Epidural steroid injections
- Medial branch blocks
- Radiofrequency ablations
- Facet joint injections
- Nerve blocks
- Other minimally invasive pain interventions
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation with dedicated scribe support
Provide compassionate, patient-centered care while maintaining clinical excellence
Participate in quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives
Stay current with advances in pain medicine through continuing education and professional development

Requirements:

Required Qualifications

MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
Completion of fellowship training in Pain Management
Board-certified or board-eligible in Pain Medicine
Active Texas medical license or eligibility to obtain one
DEA license (or eligibility to obtain one) and appropriate medical credentials
Strong clinical judgment and procedural skills
Excellent communication skills with a compassionate, patient-centered approach
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
Commitment to ethical practice, compliance, and patient safety

Preferred Experience

Experience in both clinic-based and procedure-based interventional pain management
Experience performing fluoroscopy-guided procedures
Interest or exposure to wellness, regenerative, or integrative medicine services
Desire to contribute to practice growth and innovation
